Chaoyang Theatre Acrobatics Relocate to Red Theatre in Beijing

Beijing, China – The renowned acrobatic troupe of Chaoyang Theatre has officially moved its performances to the Red Theatre, marking a new era for the city’s acrobatic entertainment.

Chaoyang Theatre, established over 20 years ago, became a cultural landmark with shows such as Flying Acrobatics that captivated both locals and tourists. Due to operational changes and to provide an enhanced audience experience, the troupe has relocated to Red Theatre, a modern venue with upgraded technical facilities and improved stage design.

The Red Theatre, located in Dongcheng District, offers a larger performance area, modern lighting and sound systems, and advanced backstage facilities, enabling performers to showcase complex stunts more safely and dramatically. Visitors can still enjoy all classic routines, including high-flying acrobatics, synchronized group performances, and spectacular martial arts sequences.

This relocation ensures that Beijing’s acrobatic heritage continues to thrive while attracting new audiences. Longtime fans will find familiar acts in a refreshed setting, and tourists will experience a comfortable and immersive environment.

The move represents both continuity and innovation, as the troupe adapts to a modern stage while preserving decades of performance tradition. Red Theatre now stands as the new home for one of Beijing’s most beloved acrobatic shows.
